Production Update #4
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Jun 25, 2018 at 09:51:51 PM

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to give you a quick update on how production has been coming along.

We've received word that Lockwood's Asylum should be finishing its manufacturing in early July and then arriving on our doorstep in August, which means that we're still on schedule for an August delivery (fingers crossed!).

This means that we will likely be charging people for shipping around mid-July; we'll give you a head's up before too long here once we've picked a solid date.

As for the RPG, we've primarily been tweaking the core rules per internal playtesting feedback and plotting out the sample adventure a bit more. After a bit of deliberation, we divided the bestiary into three different sub-sections: mundane creatures, supernatural creatures, and extraterrestrial creatures (i.e., the plants from the Seeds of Evil expansion). We're still trying to figure out exactly how to work Horrors into things, as we want a Horror to be a presence that influences the entire campaign, instead of just a big monster with an imposing stat block, and we've been trying out a few different options to see what works best.

All in all, things are moving along at a good pace, though we're very much in the "hurry up and wait" phase. :P

As mentioned above, we'll make an announcement before we charge cards for shipping/add-ons/etc., so that people can prepare and get ready for it.
